Dr Nina Leduc graduated with great distinction from the Free University of Brussels (ULB) in 2016 and completed her specialization in internal medicine and cardiology within the ULB hospital network (Erasme Hospital, Tivoli University Hospital, Charleroi University Hospital) . She currently works as a resident doctor in the cardiology department at Charleroi University Hospital where she takes care of hospitalized and outpatient patients as part of general cardiology consultations. She performs echocardiography examinations and stress tests for the detection and monitoring of heart diseases affecting the valves, muscle or arteries of the heart. She is responsible for the cardiological monitoring of patients hospitalized for cardiopulmonary rehabilitation after cardiac surgery or a heart attack. She completed an Interuniversity Diploma (DIU) in Echocardiography and Sports Cardiology at the University of Bordeaux. Dr Leduc receives you at the Walzin Medical Center for any general cardiology consultation, such as: management of high blood pressure, heart failure and coronary disease, arrhythmia, preoperative assessments, as well as prevention of cardiovascular risk factors. She also carries out cardiac assessments for athletes or non-athletes wishing to start or resume physical activity. She is a member of the Young Cardiologists Club (YCC) of the Belgian Society of Cardiology (BSC) and the Belgian Working Group on Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (BWGCPR). In 2024, she will begin a sub-specialization in cardiac rehabilitation.
