Diplômé à l’ULB en 2019 et ayant un atrait pour le sport, j’ai directement suivi un master complémentaire en pathologie sportive que j’ai terminé en 2020. Par la suite j’ai également suivi une formation en kinésithérapie de la main. J’ai travaillé dans beaucoup de différents domaines pour aujourd’hui me consacrer pleinement à la kinésithérapie orthopédique, traumatologique et sportive. J’ai fait divers autres formations notamment sur la gestion de la douleur, le renforcement musculaire, l’arthrose, etc. Je prévois de continuer à me former régulièrement.

Amélie Truong has been a qualified physiotherapist at VUB with great distinction since June 2022. A graduate of the Haute École Ilya Prigogine, I acquired solid experience in physiotherapy during my academic career. I have worked in various fields, such as sport, psychiatry, neurology, as well as in the treatment of general pathologies frequently encountered by physiotherapists. My final thesis focused on injuries among CrossFit practitioners. Today, as a physiotherapist, I am proud to serve at the Care Happy Center and the Molière Hospital. My main goal is to continue to improve myself and expand my professional skills. This is why I am committed to further training in sports physiotherapy, manual therapy and acupuncture. My field of intervention includes not only sports-related pathologies, but also all other orthopedic, traumatic, post-operative conditions, and much more. I graduated in 2012 and continue to educate myself on a regular basis in order to stay current and provide my patients with the best possible care. I am oriented as much as possible towards evidence-based practice (practice that combines the best scientific evidence and takes into account the patient's preferences). I provide general physical therapy (orthopedics, rheumatology, neurology, cardiology, respiratory physical therapy, post-natal physical therapy, chronic pain) and help with the initiation or resumption of sports activities. Information and understanding of one's health is an important part of my practice.

I have a Master's degree in Physiotherapy and studied at the Haute Ecole Bruxelles-Brabant in Auderghem.
