Ancien militaire au sein d’un bataillon de chasseurs alpins en France, j’ai servi plusieurs années et participé à de nombreuses missions, tant sur le territoire national qu’à l’étranger. Par la suite, j’ai exercé comme préparateur physique au sein de mon entreprise, où j’ai accompagné et encadré des athlètes issus de disciplines variées.

Plus récemment, dans le cadre d’une reconversion mûrement réfléchie, j’ai obtenu mon diplôme de kinésithérapeute à la HE2B – ISEK. Après avoir exercé en Suisse romande, je suis désormais de retour à Bruxelles, où je poursuis ma spécialisation en kinésithérapie du sport.

Mon parcours atypique, enrichi par la pratique régulière de nombreux sports, m’a confronté à une variété de pathologies bénignes fréquemment rencontrées en consultation. Cette expérience personnelle me confère une compréhension fine des troubles musculo-squelettiques, ainsi qu’une sensibilité particulière à leur prise en charge.

Si j’ai naturellement une affinité pour l’accompagnement des sportifs, j’apprécie tout autant travailler auprès de toutes les populations, tous profils confondus. Je m’engage à vous proposer une prise en charge individualisée et à mettre mes compétences à votre service, avec pour objectif de vous accompagner vers un rétablissement optimal.

Graduated in 2013, I specialized in sports physiotherapy in Paris (KINESPORT) until 2015. I now work in a well-equipped multidisciplinary center with a dynamic, specialized and attentive team.

Je suis kinésithérapeute spécialisé en thérapie manuelle orthopédique et en kinésithérapie neurologique. Chaque première séance commence par une évaluation complète afin d’établir un traitement précis, personnalisé et adapté à votre pathologie.

J’associe techniques manuelles, exercices thérapeutiques et rééducation neurologique pour traiter les troubles musculo-squelettiques ainsi que les atteintes du système nerveux central. La communication et la transparence sont au cœur de ma pratique : je prends le temps d’expliquer chaque démarche pour que vous compreniez clairement votre situation et deveniez acteur de votre rééducation.

J’accompagne tous les patients, avec une attention particulière pour les personnes touchées par un AVC ou la maladie de Parkinson, ainsi que les sportifs. Mon expérience en breakdance et kickboxing me permet de comprendre leurs besoins et de les aider à reprendre leur activité en toute sécurité.

A physical therapist, Shanna Kayembe, graduated from Parnasse Isei where she earned a master's degree in physical therapy in 2018. She specializes in neck pain, shoulder rehabilitation and sports physical therapy. She welcomes you in her practice in Evere and in the W Sport Clinic.

With a master's degree in physical therapy and rehabilitation in 2012 at UCLouvain, I also trained in sports physical therapy, manual therapy and ortho-kinesis. I can help you to get rid of a crookedness problem or to perform electrotherapy, tecartherapy or lymphatic drainage. I also provide shockwave and ultrasound treatments. I work at the Sentier de la Chapelle 3 center located in Frasnes-Lez-Gosselies and at the HK Health Center located in Braine-L'Alleud. Listening to your requests, objectives, and attentive to detail, I use my knowledge to develop a treatment plan that suits you as much as possible. My practice includes exercise therapy as well as mobilization/manipulation work in order to be as complete as possible in my follow-up. I take care of all general orthopedic consultations as well as all neurological and respiratory pathologies. I also support athletes, from amateur to professional, with the aim of injury prevention, revalidation and performance improvement.
