Michel Schoonjans has a degree in physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and has been an official physiotherapist since 1996. With more than 23 years of experience, he is able to treat all people suffering from musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular or psychomotor disorders. Michel Schoonjans has a very rich background in the field of physical therapy. Indeed, he has carried out several in-depth researches on the interest of coupling isokinetic testing and EMG in the context of patellofemoral syndrome. For the past 10 years, he has also been a member of the teaching staff at the ULB as an assistant in charge of exercises at the Institute of Motor Sciences, and at the HELB as a training supervisor. He also practiced at the osteoarticular center of the Antoine Depage Clinic where he gained the trust of several patients. Today, physiotherapist Michel Schoonjans welcomes you in his own practice in Uccle. You can also find him at City Clinic in the city of Ixelles. He is specialized in general and sports trauma rehabilitation, in Sohier method analytical kinesiology and in lymphatic drainage. Diplômé d'un master en kinésithérapie au Parnasse-ISEI, je pratique la kinésithérapie générale et sportive. Passionné par le domaine du sport, je me suis naturellement orienté vers les prises en charge liées au système musculo-squelettique (ortho-trauma-sport). Je reçois également pour des prises en charge générale.

Je suis actuellement en cours de formation longue en kinésithérapie du sport.

Having graduated with a master's degree in physiotherapy, I decided to complete my training with a specialized master's degree in the management of musculoskeletal disorders and with a university certificate in manual therapy this year. I have a great interest in musculoskeletal pathologies (joints, muscles, etc.) as well as sports-related pathologies, in connection with my passion for physical activity and more specifically for dance! For more than ten years, I have been practicing breaking (or breakdancing), a physical discipline with an artistic and creative aspect. It was therefore quite natural that I turned to physiotherapy, which focuses on movements and the body in a similar way to dance. Thanks to my experience as a dancer combined with my clinical practice, I will make every effort to offer treatments adapted to each patient according to their needs and desires, based on the best scientific evidence available. Graduated in 2016 in France, I worked for 6 years in the Nantes region. I then moved to Brussels in 2022 where I signed a contract. I practice active care adapted in particular to musculoskeletal problems (back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, etc.) and pathologies linked to sport and activity. My goal is to empower patients as much as possible by adapting to them and their pathology by supporting them during their rehabilitation. I have completed different training courses since my diploma: Mckenzie part A, Mulligan upper quadrant, Mulligan lower quadrant, Jo GIBSON, Neurodynamics.

Sien Peeters works as a physiotherapist at the "Centre Médical Jourdan" in Etterbeek. She graduated from KULeuven in June 2018 with a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences and Kinesitherapy. Patients can contact her for all kinds of problems and injuries: musculoskeletal problems, sports injuries, jaw joint problems etc.

Physiotherapist since 2007, I mainly practice orthopedic and rheumatologic kinesiology, as well as manual lymphatic drainage (45) and perinatal kinesiology. You can also consult me for a scar treatment, for a perinatal rehabilitation, for a well-being massage.
