Dr. Rushanyan trained as an ENT specialist at the UCL Saint-Luc via an ad hoc course. This 2-year course included all the inter-university courses and theoretical exams, a final thesis and 2 years of practical training as an assistant. Her final work was on "the evaluation of the olfactory function after surgery for unilateral choanal atresia". This work, which she also completed with Distinction, was performed at the UCL Saint-Luc and in collaboration with the Carl Gustav Carus University Clinic in Dresden (Germany). Dr. Rushanyan is trilingual French/Armenian/Russian and also speaks Dutch and English.
