Dr. Bilal Kapanci is a specialist in orthopedics and traumatology, having graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), where he also completed his master’s degree. He developed his expertise internationally during a fellowship in oncology and arthroplasty at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham, UK.
Currently serving as a Praticien Hospitalier Universitaire at the Hôpital Universitaire de Bruxelles and as an external consultant for the Hôpitaux Iris Sud (HIS), Dr. Kapanci is recognized for his expertise in hip prosthetic surgery and the revision of total hip replacements. He manages the majority of hip pathologies. Another area of his expertise involves musculoskeletal tumors, including bone and soft tissue sarcomas. Complex reconstructions and limb salvage procedures following tumor removal are part of his weekly practice.
In addition to his areas of specialization, he can also treat most common orthopedic issues.
