Osteopaths for Knee pain in Etterbeek

Curious to understand the functioning of the human body and passionate about manual medicine, I completed a 6-year course at the Université Libre de Bruxelles before obtaining my osteopathic diploma. Today, I consult in several multidisciplinary practices in Brussels where I ensure a precise, gentle and patient-friendly treatment. As an osteopath, and in a general way, I am interested in musculo-articular pains as well as in their relief by the hand and by the movement. I am particularly interested in the treatment of pregnant women, the jaw joint and its relationship with the cervical spine, and acute situations such as torticollis or lumbago.

IMPORTANT!! Starting in November 2025, consultations in Etterbeek will take place at “Boulevard Louis Schmidt 10, 1040 Etterbeek” on Mondays (afternoon/evening) and Thursdays (morning + afternoon/evening). Consultations in Woluwe Saint Pierre will take place on Tuesday (afternoon/evening).

I only practice osteopathy in my office. Consultations are in French, English, Arabic or Armenian. I treat adults, pregnant women, athletes, the elderly and children (but not babies).  After completing my physiotherapy studies at the Lebanese University, I came to Belgium to study osteopathy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Passionate about the biomechanics of the body and human anatomy, I work as an assistant in the ULB functional anatomy laboratory, assisting medical students with practical anatomy work.

Osteopath D.O. graduated from the ULB (first university teaching of Osteopathy in Belgium), Romain Derue has a very broad field of intervention. He mainly treats musculoskeletal and nervous disorders (lumbago, torticollis, sciatica, sprains, tendinitis) but also digestive, jaw and stress problems. His practice in the office is reassuring and can be adapted to everyone, whatever their profile, age or activity. Romain Derue can therefore treat athletes, pregnant women, adults and children.

Graduated from a Master in Osteopathy (M.Ost) at the European School of Osteopathy in 2019 in England, I worked for 4 years in various practices before moving back to Belgium. I provide personalised treatments to help with multiple complains (musculoskeletal, articular, visceral, headache,...) and guide patients towards finding a better quality of life. I work in collaboration with my patients and will adapt to their individual needs and preferences. I always take into consideration the body as a whole including the emotional aspect. My appointments are open for people of all ages - children, pregnant woman, elderly, etc. Always curious to improve my practice, I regularly attend training in different specialities to keep up to date with science and to continue to increase my expertise. Having done my studies in English as well as working in England for a few years, I am more than happy to see any non-French speaking patient and will be able to communicate easily

Je vous accueille dans mon cabinet à Auderghem, à 500 m du métro Delta, près de l'Hôpital Delta CHIREC et des campus de la Plaine et du Solbosch. Mon approche clinique repose sur des connaissances approfondies en anatomie et physiologie, et s'adresse principalement aux troubles musculosquelettiques chez les adultes, les seniors et les sportifs. Je ne prends pas en charge les bébés, nourrissons ni les enfants. J'utilise une large gamme de techniques manipulatives et non-manipulatives pour m'adapter à vos besoins et préférences.

Mes consultations, d'une durée de 45 minutes , sont un moment de soin conçu pour répondre à vos attentes dans une approche respectueuse et bienveillante.

Si nécessaire, je collabore volontiers avec une équipe pluridisciplinaire pour assurer une prise en charge optimale et adaptée à vos besoins.
