Hello, I am a DO osteopath graduated in 2022 from the Free University of Brussels and osteopath of the federal Taekwondo team. I started studying the human body and care 13 years ago. I took my first steps in the field of health in midwifery (midwifery) for 3 years. It was a great experience, where I was able to support pregnancies, but also deliver newborns and follow their progress. 7 years ago, I reoriented myself to be able to investigate care through my hands. As an osteopath, I treat musculoskeletal and peripheral neurological disorders of mechanical origin. These mechanical problems have a cause! To find it, an initial discussion will allow me to know more about your pain (How did it appear? What are the characteristics of your pain?). We will take the time to explore your health and medical history. Following this, we will proceed to the physical, clinical and neurological examination supplemented by orthopedic tests in order to best identify the cause of the pain in an algo-mechanical logic. The succession of these stages will allow us to move on to osteopathic treatment and/or medical reorientation towards other specialties. He is now part of the multidisciplinary team of BACK in Bruxelles center, as well as in Laeken too. Thanks to a meticulous approach, these osteopathic sessions are focused on the various complaints of the patient. Pier-Luigi Cianci is specialized in the treatment of adults, teenagers and athletes of all levels. He did his final study on the management and biomechanics of low back pain. Alicia Absil is an osteopath with several experiences. She specializes in adult osteopathy as well as pediatric osteopathy after graduating with a double master's degree in Motor Sciences in 2016 and a Master's degree in Osteopathy in 2017. I have 5 years of experience as an osteopath in my own home (after a 5-year training at the IAO, completed in 2016) and 11 years as a physiotherapist in a medical home with a very diversified care and a sharp knowledge of orthopedic disorders, sharpened by a 5-year experience as an assistant and lecturer at the International Academy of Osteopathy (Gent). His approach is based on 3 pillars: Listening: I take the time to make a good history and clinical examination with each patient to make a diagnosis. Techniques : I provide several types of osteopathic techniques : mobilizations, myotensive techniques, manipulations, cranial or visceral techniques, inhibition, hooking... Time: The session lasts 60 minutes in order to ensure a qualitative care to each patient. I deeply love my job and am comfortable with all types of people.

I only practice osteopathy in my office. Consultations are in French, English, Arabic or Armenian. I treat adults, pregnant women, athletes, the elderly and children (but not babies).  After completing my physiotherapy studies at the Lebanese University, I came to Belgium to study osteopathy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Passionate about the biomechanics of the body and human anatomy, I work as an assistant in the ULB functional anatomy laboratory, assisting medical students with practical anatomy work.
