Graduated with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree specializing in osteopathy at the ULB, I will see you for diagnosis and treatment manual for your pain. My training includes both a solid scientific theoretical base, as well as varied techniques, ranging from joint manipulations to so-called “gentle” techniques. I take the time to listen to you in order to understand the complexity of your clinical history and I respect your requests (phobia of manipulation, modesty, etc.).

My outgoing, caring and passionate personality resonates with the philosophy of osteopathy which I decided to study for the human contact and the help to others through a hollistic approach to understand the origin of problems, to treat them and to avoid possible chronic injuries. Osteopathy, an alternative and traditional medicine, is a primary health care discipline and is therefore partially refunded by the mutual insurance company. I graduated in July 2022 from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in England and had the opportunity to study the human body and practice for 4 years. My training in England allowed me to learn the 3 bases of osteopathy such as the structural, the functional and the visceral and to put it into practice at the school's clinic where I was able to treat my patients for 2 years with supervision. These 1300 hours of clinical practice allowed me to acquire a wide range of techniques such as: articular, cranial, cranio-sacral, facial, myotensive, visceral, etc.. During my last year of master, I had the chance to specialise in pediatrics, perinatal and sports medicine. I had the exceptional opportunity to treat babies as young as a few weeks old, children and teenagers, pregnant women and post-partum, athletes and elderly people. There is no pain whose cause is obvious and immediately attributable to a localized dysfunction. Often the origin of the pain is to be found in areas other than those affected. For example, a common backache may result from excessive fatigue in the foot or a malfunctioning jaw. Similarly, would you ever have imagined that overloading the intestines can induce headaches? Our body is a machine with complex gears and countless transmission belts. Being able to find the right key to interpret when the warning light of pain turns on, identifying its origin, looking at the patient in all his complexity, and being able to guarantee him lasting benefit are the greatest satisfaction that this work can give me.

Osteopath D.O. graduated from the ULB (first university teaching of Osteopathy in Belgium), Romain Derue has a very broad field of intervention. He mainly treats musculoskeletal and nervous disorders (lumbago, torticollis, sciatica, sprains, tendinitis) but also digestive, jaw and stress problems. His practice in the office is reassuring and can be adapted to everyone, whatever their profile, age or activity. Romain Derue can therefore treat athletes, pregnant women, adults and children.

Diplômé ostéopathe D.O. en juillet 2023, en raison d’un attrait particulier pour le sens du toucher, je vous accueille au Cabinet du Châtelain avec bienveillance. Grâce à mes cinq années d’études en France et à mon expérience canadienne, j’ai acquis les compétences nécessaires à la prise en charge ostéopathique de tous types de patients, du nourrisson au senior, en passant par la femme enceinte et le sportif. J’ai un intérêt particulier pour le domaine de la périnatalité, pour les techniques viscérales et pour les petits troubles du quotidien.

Ma mission principale consiste en l’évaluation et le traitement manuel des restrictions de mobilité, tout en vous guidant dans la gestion de vos douleurs aiguës ou chroniques. Je saurai m’adapter à vous afin de vous proposer un traitement personnalisé, en fonction de vos problématiques, par le biais d’une approche musculo-squelettique, viscérale, crânienne, myofasciale ou encore somato-émotionnelle. Il me fera plaisir de vous accompagner au mieux, dans un cadre convivial et professionnel !

Diplômé d’un Master de spécialisation en ostéopathie de l'Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), et, au contact de ce métier depuis toujours (mon père étant ostéopathe depuis 25 ans), il me tient à cœur d'aider les patients souffrants, et de leur apporter une amélioration de leur condition de vie au quotidien.

Kathleen Gillain est ostéopathe D.O. depuis 2024. Elle a d'abord suivi une formation en kinésithérapie à l'école Parnasse ISEI, de 2015 à 2019, avant de se spécialiser en ostéopathie à la Belgian School of Osteopathy, où elle a étudié de 2019 à 2024. Pendant son parcours, Kathleen a rédigé un mémoire en kinésithérapie portant sur les étirements de l'épaule chez les sportifs, et un autre en ostéopathie, axé sur le traitement du nerf vague et son influence sur la fréquence cardiaque. Elle exerce actuellement au cabinet Drugmand, au centre Body Therapy à Sombreffe, ainsi qu’à Mellery. Par ailleurs, Kathleen occupe également le rôle d’assistante à la Belgian School of Osteopathy.

Zora Vandenbussche is an osteopath D.O., graduated at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She offers a global care of the patient thanks to the manual diagnostic and therapeutic approach of osteopathy. She consults at 19 rue Ernest Gossart in Uccle, from 8am to 8pm from Monday to Friday and at the Medi Vanderkinderen center on Wednesdays.
