As a certified clinical psychologist (ULB), I work with teenagers & adults using an integrative approach, which draws from EMDR, psychoanalysis & systemic psychology. My practice provides culturally adapted care, is trauma-informed & person-centered, with an awareness & sensitivity around questions of identity. My professional experience within psychiatric services has trained me to welcome a multiplicity of internal conflicts, with an active listening to the person’s vitality, resourcefulness & creativity. In addition, my practice as a dance therapist brings in the somatic dimension, which considers the body as a person’s moving memory. Sessions can be held in 5 languages: English, French, Greek, Portuguese, Spanish. The therapeutic encounter aims to create a caring space where you could gain momentum to deploy & express yourself, in order to explore your life narrative & what is currently preoccupying you. We will work together to find more “degrees of freedom” in your life & to digest the experiences you carry within you. I invite you to a space of empowerment & reappropriation, where the rewriting of your narrative opens up different doors within you. The psychotherapeutic tools I propose come from the systemic approach (family coat of arms, genograms…), as well as the somatic approach (breathwork, progressive muscle relaxation, mental visualisations…), which will also reinforce your resilience. I accompany & support you in what preoccupies you, your inner conflicts & your life questions, in order to reinvent together, in individual consultations: • a space for you, where you may breathe & take a step back • a space for emotional expression • a way to let your fears & anxieties exist, translate them & find solace • a way to pass through trauma or complex trauma • your relationship to others & to the world • your identities & how they are woven together • the meaning of specific events that have stayed with you • your vital pillars, to strengthen your resilience • the way you feel in your body & you listen to your body • your scripts/roles in your family or group dynamics • how you listen to your needs & the way you place your limits in your life. Depending on your request, I offer occasional or more sustained sessions of 45 min.
