I am a dynamic and motivated physiotherapist who enjoys taking care of patients in their entirety. In addition to general physical therapy (orthopedics), I am specialized in neurological rehabilitation. I take care of both adults and children. Please note that it is mandatory to have a medical prescription for physical therapy before the first appointment. Languages: French, Dutch and English I work at the center in Schaerbeek with Florence Ghion, general practitioner and Géraldine de Meeûs, physiotherapist. Qualified as a physiotherapist in 2013, I practiced in private practice for 5 years. I completed my skills with training in sports physiotherapy which allowed me to work within the medical staff of a football team and an indoor football team. I also have a diploma as a personal trainer with 3 years of experience in a gym. Having lived 4 years in Montreal as a therapist in a sports clinic, I was able to develop my skills in massage therapy. These new skills help me complete my overall patient care. My skills as a physiotherapist and personal trainer allow me to best support patients in their healing processes and reduce the risks of recurrence. My knowledge and experience allow me to treat a large number of pathologies affecting the musculoskeletal system (sprain, fracture, muscle damage, postural disorder, etc.). Calm and curious by nature, I will take the time to understand your needs as best as possible in order to find the best way to act on them.

Grâce à mon certificat en drainage lymphatique manuel, je propose également un accompagnement plus doux quand c’est nécessaire, pour soulager les inconforts, réduire les œdèmes et améliorer la sensation de bien-être.

Mon approche est centrée sur la bienveillance, la progression en douceur et l’adaptation à vos besoins, afin que vous vous sentiez soutenu(e) et en sécurité tout au long de votre parcours de rééducation.

Kinésithérapeute respiratoire de formation à l'UCL, je suis passionnée par la pneumologie. En parallèle de mon poste de recherche à l'hôpital, j'ai ouvert une consultation de kinésithérapie respiratoire au centre CIRCAE, un centre spécialisé en troubles respiratoires et du sommeil.

Passionné par mon métier et exerçant depuis bientôt 8 ans, je me suis spécialisé en kiné du sport. Je vous accompagne dans votre rééducation, dans la prévention de vos blessures, et dans l’optimisation de vos performances afin de vous aider à atteindre vos objectifs.

Je m’intéresse plus particulièrement aux pathologies spécifiques en course à pied, au trail mais également aux sports collectifs comme le basket-ball et le football. Vous pouvez me retrouver sur le terrain où j’encadre l’équipe de football du Sporting Brussels.

Suivant depuis 4 ans une formation complémentaire en ostéopathie, j’aime approcher le patient dans sa globalité afin de fournir une prise en charge ciblée et individuelle, le tout dans la bonne humeur.

Diplômé en Kinésithérapie à l’ULB, j’ai un intérêt particulier pour le sport, la rééducation fonctionnelle et l’accompagnement des patients dans leurs objectifs de santé.

Within the treatment, I favor exercise therapy for all pathologies of the musculoskeletal system in athletes of all levels. I also treat any pathology in general physiotherapy. I attach great importance to developing a spirit of collaboration allowing us to move forward according to your objectives and desires.

Je suis Gisèle Michiels, kinésithérapeute et thérapeute manuelle spécialisée en pédiatrie et rééducation pour adultes. 

J’accompagne les nourrissons et jeunes enfants (0 à 18ans) en proposant une prise en charge spécialisée dans plusieurs domaines :

-      Respiratoire : prise en charge des bronchiolites, encombrements, asthmes et autres troubles pulmonaires

-      Orthopédique : prise en charge des déformations crâniennes (plagiocéphalie), torticolis congénitaux, troubles musculaires et posturaux, rééducation après une blessure,…

Physiotherapist graduated from the Haute École Ilya Prigogine in Brussels. Throughout my academic career, I have had the opportunity to explore various areas of physiotherapy, including pediatrics, geriatrics, neurology, musculoskeletal disorders, hand rehabilitation, abdominal rehabilitation, and many others. I am currently preparing for two training courses: one focusing on dys disorders in children and adolescents, and the other focused on hand rehabilitation. As a physiotherapist, I currently work in two centers: the Care Happy Center in Uccle and the June Medical Center in Tubize. My main goal as a professional is to provide high quality care and seek sustainable solutions for each patient, constantly keeping myself informed and adapting my approaches individually.

With a Master's degree in Physiotherapy, my recent training and my various professional experiences allow me to approach the most recent care techniques with maturity and professionalism in order to ensure an optimal functional and sports recovery in the respect, safety and well-being of the patient. The treatments cover orthopedic rehabilitation as well as respiratory physiotherapy (adult and child), geriatric or sports physiotherapy, with a particular emphasis on explaining the pathologies, treatment and prevention. I am currently training in manual therapies and I combine all my skills to help you regain or maintain your physical abilities.
