Professor Paschalis Sidiras (MD, PhD) graduated from the University of Athens in 2010, then obtained a degree in Rheumatology at the Université libre de Bruxelles (2017, Magna cum Laude) as well as a degree in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (University of Liege, Summa cum Laude). In 2022 he obtained his doctoral degree from the Université libre de Bruxelles for his research in the field of autoantibodies in Rheumatoid Arthritis.
He worked at the Erasmus Hospital as the head of the Early Arthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis Clinic until 2024. Since 2025 he joined the Chirec hospital group. In parallel, he continues his post-doctoral research in the field of rheumatoid arthritis, with the support of the Erasmus Fund and the King Baudouin Foundation.
Since 2024, he holds the university chair of Rheumatology in the UMons, teaching undergraduate students. Inflammatory pathologies are at the center of his scientific interest, with expertise on inflammatory arthritis.
