Après avoir obtenu mon diplôme de kiné, j’ai travaillé directement dans différentes structures privées afin de développer ma propre patientèle. C’est dans ce cadre que je me sens le plus utile pour mes patients et le plus proche de mes convictions professionnelles. Ces expériences m’ont permis de traiter une large gamme de pathologies musculo-squelettiques, neurologiques et autres. J’ai eu l’opportunité de travailler avec des équipes pluridisciplinaires, ce qui m’a permis d’apprendre à collaborer efficacement pour offrir une prise en charge globale à mes patients.

En parallèle à ma pratique clinique, j’ai suivi 5 années de formation en ostéopathie au sein du Collège Belge d’Ostéopathie, qui offre un enseignement de type troisième cycle post-universitaire. J’ai également continué à me former dans des techniques telles que le crochetage myo-aponévrotique, les chaînes musculaires RPG (rééducation posturale globale), et la thérapie par ondes de choc (ESWT). Aujourd’hui encore, je participe à des séminaires et à des conférences, afin de rester à jour avec les dernières avancées dans le domaine et ainsi pouvoir améliorer continuellement mes compétences cliniques. De plus, je suis actuellement des cours au CERDEN®️ en vue d’obtenir un Master en nutrition et nutrithérapie.

Traditionally, osteopathy is a general approach to health, based on the idea that the body functions as an interconnected unit, where each part influences the others. While traditional osteopathy is holistic, modern practice has evolved to meet the specific needs of patients.

For the treatment of a discal hernia (slipped disc), you should seek an osteopath who specializes in musculoskeletal disorders…someone trained to assess, diagnose, and treat conditions related to the spine, including discal hernias.

However, don’t spend too much time searching for a specific specialization. Even though some osteopaths focus on particula...r areas, they often continue to adopt a global approach.

Knee pain

Hi, I think I sprained my left knee. So, I got a knee support from the pharmacy to support recovery. As a self-diagnosis, I have no problems walking, the inner side ligaments seem to be healing better, but even after 8 weeks, the knee still feel sore. I can swim, but not really run and certainly not do any contact sports. It's probably best to finally see a general doctor. After seeing a general doctor, in case it is necessary, what could be the possible next steps to investigate what is wrong with the knee?
