Nicolas Renaux is an osteopath D.O since 2017 and a physiotherapist by training. Kathleen Gillain est ostéopathe D.O. depuis 2024. Elle a d'abord suivi une formation en kinésithérapie à l'école Parnasse ISEI, de 2015 à 2019, avant de se spécialiser en ostéopathie à la Belgian School of Osteopathy, où elle a étudié de 2019 à 2024. Pendant son parcours, Kathleen a rédigé un mémoire en kinésithérapie portant sur les étirements de l'épaule chez les sportifs, et un autre en ostéopathie, axé sur le traitement du nerf vague et son influence sur la fréquence cardiaque. Elle exerce actuellement au cabinet Drugmand, au centre Body Therapy à Sombreffe, ainsi qu’à Mellery. Par ailleurs, Kathleen occupe également le rôle d’assistante à la Belgian School of Osteopathy.

Passionné par le corps humain et par son fonctionnement depuis tout petit, j’ai décidé d’entreprendre des études de kinésithérapie à l’ISEK, Haute Ecole de kinésithérapie. Désireux d’aller toujours plus loin dans la compréhension du corps humain, j’ai décidé d’entamer des études d’Ostéopathie au Collège Belge d’Ostéopathie (CBO) en 2015 afin d’avoir une approche plus globale du patient tout en le conseillant. L’Ostéopathie peut se définir comme une médecine manuelle s’adressant aux troubles fonctionnels du corps humain. Elle repose sur l’utilisation du contact manuel pour le diagnostic et le traitement. Elle place l’accent sur l’intégrité structurelle et fonctionnelle du corps ainsi que sa capacité à s’auto-guérir. Que la consultation soit curative ou préventive, je mettrai un point d’honneur à redonner à votre corps les moyens de s’auto-guérir.

Kinésithérapeute depuis 2017, je suis devenu ostéopathe D.O depuis près d'un an. Riche de toutes ces années d'expériences et de formation continues , je vous reçois avec plaisir afin de vous aider à résoudre vos différents problèmes. Je peux traiter tous les troubles au niveaux du rachis qu'il soit cervicale/thoracique/lombaire avec les pathologies associées ainsi que les différentes pathologies du sportif ( épaule/coude/poignet/hanche/genou/cheville). Je traite également les bébés dans le cadre de plagiocéphalie.

Qu’est-ce que l’ostéopathie ?

L’ostéopathie est une approche par des techniques essentiellement manuelles, qui vise à stimuler les capacités naturelles d’autoguérison du corps, tout en lui redonnant mobilité, fonction et équilibre.

Elle prend en compte l’ensemble des systèmes : neurologique, musculo-squelettique, vasculaire, tissulaire, viscéral,… qui peuvent être liés aux symptômes se manifestant parfois loin de la zone incriminée et cherche à trouver l’origine plutôt que de juste analyser le symptôme.
