Nicolas Renaux is an osteopath D.O since 2017 and a physiotherapist by training. With his numerous experiences in centers and offices, he has specialized in musculoskeletal, perinatal and pediatric treatment as well as in the visceral field. He adopts a holistic vision of osteopathy, emphasizing the globality and unity of the body. Working in his private practice and as a consultant at the C.H.U. Ambroise Paré, in the maternity, gynecology and pediatrics departments, he will do his utmost to respond to your problems in an optimal manner.

I have been a physical therapist since 1982, an osteopath in 1994 and a hypnotherapist since 2019. I am also a former trainer in specialization in the following institutions: SERK, CREA, ISCAM, SOFCOK, PARNASSE, BELSO, VALIDA. Punctual, I practice in Berchem-Sainte-Agathe at my private practice, the Centre Didier Abattucci D.O. (Zenithstraat 63). As a hypnotherapist specialized in hypnosis, in specialized kinesiology (with many specializations) and in osteopathy, I practice in a healthy and recovery-friendly environment. Passionate about the human body and how it works, I seek to understand the needs of my patients in order to respond correctly to their expectations. Trained in general and sports osteopathy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, I use my knowledge of physiology and anatomy of the human body to treat your pain. I am also specialized in perinatal osteopathy which allows me to treat different disorders in newborns (reflux, non-synostotic plagiocephaly, breastfeeding disorders, torticollis, positional asymmetry, sleep disorders,... )

Ostéopathe D.O. diplômée de l’Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), je suis spécialisée en ostéopathie générale, pédiatrie et périnatalité (OsteoStructure) et passionnée par l’accompagnement des tout-petits et des futures mamans. Mon approche thérapeutique repose sur une relation d’échange et d’écoute avec mes patients, afin d’adapter chaque traitement à leurs besoins spécifiques. Attiré par le contact humain et le sport en général, j’ai débuté comme kinésithérapeute en 1999. Je me suis ensuite spécialisé en kiné du sport. Très vite confronté aux douleurs aiguës et aux pertes de mobilités, je me suis orienté vers l’ostéopathie. J’ai terminé mon cursus en 2010 pour lancer mon cabinet de Haut-Ittre. C’est avec l’envie de participer à la réussite du sportif en lui permettant d’approcher ses capacités maximales et en lui apprenant à écouter son corps que je rejoins également l’équipe Health & Sports Care du centre Mounier à Woluwé. L’ostéopathie s’adresse à toutes et à tous: femmes enceintes, sportifs de haut niveau, amateurs ou sédentaires. A consultation begins with a clinical interrogation in order to let the patient express his complaint. This is followed by a complete clinical examination with the objective of identifying the pain as well as its origin and finally, the consultation ends with an adapted treatment accompanied by preventive advice to avoid that the complaint returns.

There is no pain whose cause is obvious and immediately attributable to a localized dysfunction. Often the origin of the pain is to be found in areas other than those affected. For example, a common backache may result from excessive fatigue in the foot or a malfunctioning jaw. Similarly, would you ever have imagined that overloading the intestines can induce headaches? Our body is a machine with complex gears and countless transmission belts. Being able to find the right key to interpret when the warning light of pain turns on, identifying its origin, looking at the patient in all his complexity, and being able to guarantee him lasting benefit are the greatest satisfaction that this work can give me.

Graduate of osteopathy at the U.L.B. The reason for the consultation, the patient's complaint as well as a clinical examination will lead to an appropriate osteopathic treatment. The osteopathy sessions allow to treat the "blockages" of muscular, articular, neurological or digestive type in order to give back a freedom of movement and the desired well-being.

I graduated in physical therapy and rehabilitation at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (2016), I am also specialized in manual therapy and I am currently studying osteopathy at the BELSO. I am still interested in many training projects such as acupuncture among others. I also attend many seminars throughout the year and keep myself regularly informed of new discoveries in the fields of physical therapy and osteopathy. Since 2016, I have been practicing at the Molière-Longchamp hospital in the orthopedic/rheumatology outpatient department as well as in the orthopedic-neurological outpatient revalidation department. I am also in charge of the "Back School" program which started in 2021 in the same hospital. I am a registered therapist and therefore apply the current INAMI rates.
