Born in 1975 in Thessaloniki and having both French and Greek nationality, Alexander Tzovairis practices Periodontology and Implantology exclusively since 2002 in Greece, Luxembourg and in Belgium where he currently lives. He got his DDS degree at the Dental School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and his Master degree in Periodontics at the Catholic University of Leuven - Brussels. Since then, he attended several Master courses to enhance his specialisation in the fields of minimal invasive Periodontics and Implantology. He is currently an active contributor in case report publishing in various media platforms and a speaker in international congresses. His areas of interest include Minimal Invasive protocols in implantology, Piezosurgery and the use of autologous dentin and PRF growth factors as biomaterials for bone regeneration. His main contribution in Implantology is Optimised implant therapy via various modern strategies. He is one of the few clinicians worldwide mastering the SPOT Protocol for Partial Extraction Therapy. He has been a Key opinion leader for Innovato Holdings (VPI Cervico System) and Devemed Instruments and a member of the MIS MEET platform (MIS Expert Experience Team) for Western Europe. He is coauthor of the Cervical Socket plug technique and the author of the Poncho Lamina technique. He is currently investigating new approaches in soft and hard tissue management for optimising treatment in implant sites (O.S.O. And S.I.T.E.O. Processes) through both analog and digital workflows.
