Je m’appelle Severine et je suis maman de deux enfants déjà adolescents maintenant. Diplômée de l’ULB, je suis psychologue clinicienne et sexologue (SSUB). Je travaille en milieu scolaire depuis 20 ans et j’ai aussi une expérience en planning familial, en espace-rencontre ainsi qu’en consultation privée psychologique et sexologique de plus de 10 ans. Je suis passionnée par les relations humaines et particulièrement par cette étape de vie qu’est l’arrivée d’un enfant. C’est une période intense et forte où peuvent revenir à la surface des émotions de notre propre enfance et où chacun doit trouver une nouvelle place dans la famille. Parfois ces changements sont difficiles à vivre. Parfois aussi les choses ne se passent pas comme on l’aurait rêvé (anxiété, dépression, naissance prématurée, handicap, maladie, deuil…) L’intimité et la sexualité du couple sont parfois aussi impactées par la traversée de cette étape si particulière. Toute la sexualité peut y être chamboulée : dans notre rapport à soi et à notre corps, dans notre rapport à l’autre (créant parfois des difficultés de communication et de connexions intimes), ou encore dans ces nouveaux rôles qui s’imposent à nous et nous placent dans un nouvel équilibre familial et intime à construire. Je vous propose un lieu de parole et de soutien dans cette belle aventure. Aucun parcours de naissance ne se ressemble, nous cheminerons ensemble dans vos questionnements, vos doutes, dans vos chagrins, dans vos peurs et cela à votre rythme. Je vous reçois en consultation individuelle ou en couple.

Ik ben een erkend klinisch psycholoog. Sinds mijn afstuderen als Master in de Klinische Psychologie in 2008, heb ik ervaring opgedaan in de ziekenhuizen (oncologie, hematologie, pijnkliniek, obesitaskliniek, diabeteskliniek, fysische geneeskunde, geriatrie, neurologie, revalidatie,...) en in de privésector waar ik crisisinterventies verzorgde bij traumatische gebeurtenissen en EAP-trajecten (Employee Assistance Program) deed voor medewerkers van bedrijven en overheden. Ik begeleidde hen bij werk- als privégerelateerde problemen zoals stress en burn-out, verlies van een naaste, mentale problemen,... . Die brede achtergrond, ervaring en interesse neem ik dan ook mee in mijn praktijk.

Soms loopt het leven gewoon anders dan je had verwacht. Je voelt je uit balans, weet niet goed welke richting je uit wil of kan, of je zit met vragen waar je zelf niet meteen antwoorden op vindt. Of het nu gaat over verlies, ouderschap, ziekte, stress op het werk, tegenslag, spanningen of het gevoel vast te zitten, je hoeft er niet alleen door.

Ik werk met methodieken uit de Acceptance and Commitment Therapie (ACT) in combinatie met de Oplossingsgerichte Therapie en Cognitieve Gedragstherapie. Daarnaast verlies ik nooit het grotere geheel namelijk jouw omgeving uit het oog. Zelf woon ik samen met mijn partner en 2 kinderen.

I am a clinical psychologist, trained in victimology and psycho-traumatology and in continuing education in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. In parallel to my consultation, I work in the Mental Health Service of the Province of Brabant Wallon in Tubize with adults and adolescents. As a person and a psychologist, I have always valued listening and empathy. Thus, the welcome and the non-judgmental attitude that I guarantee to my patients, allow me to create a secure relationship with them, characterized by benevolence. My practice is characterized by the use of various tools such as relaxation, anchoring and self-hypnosis techniques. The patient can learn to use these tools to work through his or her emotions and experience them more serenely. The establishment of a trusting and collaborative relationship between the patient and myself is essential in order for us to work together. In this way, the support that I will offer the patient will allow him/her to have a space where he/she can free his/her speech and verbalize his/her emotions, so that we can make sense of what he/she is going through. The change that the patient wants to achieve and the setting of objectives according to his initial request, as well as the realization of new experiences in a secure place, will be at the center of the care that I propose to offer him.
