La santé de la femme et la périnatalité me tenant à coeur, je me suis spécialisée en pelvi-périnéologie féminine. J'accompagne les femmes durant la grossesse pour une préparation à l'accouchement, les femmes venant d'accoucher pour une rééducation périnéale et abdominale, les femmes souffrant de troubles urinaires, de douleurs pelviennes, ou d'endométriose. Je travaille également avec la méthode Pilates pour vous accompagner dans un renforcement de la sangle abdominale profonde.

Graduated with a master's degree in physiotherapy and rehabilitation at UCL in 2015. In 2017, I specialized in the field of perineology and perinatality. Specialization in perineology allows me to take care of women of all ages presenting problems in the urogynecological sector. such as: - Urinary incontinence - Perineal pain - Sexological problem such as vaginismus and dyspareunia - Organ descent As for the perinatal sphere, it gives me the opportunity to support women during their pregnancy, in order to best prepare them for childbirth. After this, I help my patients in their journey as mothers to allow them to find a toned perineum and body in their daily life. The rehabilitation will then focus on the work of the perineum, the strengthening of the abdominal strap as well as an overall fitness... However, my activity is not limited to this area, I had the opportunity in the meantime to follow other training in various sectors allowing me to treat a wide range of pathologies in physiotherapy. (orthopedics and traumatology, post-operative, manual lymphatic drainage, global massage, etc.) I am someone who listens to my patients and I like to implement a treatment with them that will take into account the specificity of each one.

Trained in perineal and perinatal rehabilitation, I see you in my office for all pathologies linked to these spheres: urinary (incontinence, overactive bladder, etc.), anorectal (constipation, incontinence, etc.) and sexual (pain , vaginismus, etc.). I also support the woman in her maternity ward through preparation for childbirth and relief of pregnancy-related pain, and subsequently during active postnatal rehabilitation of the perineum and abdominal muscles. Charline van Wessem is a licensed physical therapist who graduated from ISEK in 2018. She is specialized in Sports Physiotherapy and Adult Neurology. She also offers care in general physiotherapy, pre/post natal, orthopedic senology, rheumatology, geriatrics,... . She currently works in private practice in Woluwé-Saint-Lambert and at the CHU Brugmann (Maternity, multidisciplinary ambulatory consultations in Neurology). Sessions can be held in French or in English.
