I am 46 years old and I am a systemic psychologist/psychotherapist. I work mainly with couples and families, but also with individuals. The people who have consulted me say that I am a gentle, calm person and that I am very invested in the interviews. They also say that I am atypical compared to the psychologist colleagues they have known, and that this characteristic is experienced in a very positive way for them. When I presented my family and personal history in my second year of postgraduate training in systemic psychology, one of the things that Ms. E. Goldbeter said to me was, "You sound like you're telling the story of a 70-year-old man, when you're only 36. You have done a lot of things in life...". Indeed, I am 46 years old and I am now a psychologist, a psychotherapist, since two years a lecturer at the University of Liege as an expert in psychology, a photographer and a musician, who puts together his different life experiences to try to make them useful in psychological meetings. I often use metaphor, humor, but also music, photography, and many other things in order to make the suffering situation presented to me as simple, clear, explicit and intelligible as possible for everyone. This collective understanding is often linked to the beginning of the resolution of the problem(s). When couples, families or individuals come to my office, I always explain to them certain points to which I pay particular attention: communication, emotions, family history, the feeling of justice and injustice experienced between people. Actuellement, je poursuis une formation continue en vue de devenir psychothérapeute systémicienne spécialisée dans l’accompagnement des familles et des couples.

Je travaille dans le secteur de l’aide à la jeunesse, où j’assure le suivi de jeunes pris en charge dans le cadre de mesures judiciaires ordonnées par le tribunal de la jeunesse.

Psychologue clinicienne, en formation continue en orientation systémique, j’accompagne les adolescents, jeunes adultes, adultes et parents dans un espace d’écoute bienveillant, respectueux et confidentiel.

Mon travail s’intéresse autant à la personne qu’à son environnement (familial, relationnel, scolaire ou professionnel), car les difficultés prennent souvent sens dans les relations et les contextes de vie. Ensemble, nous explorons ce qui se joue pour vous afin de mieux comprendre les situations vécues et de trouver des pistes de changement adaptées.

Je vous propose un accompagnement personnalisé, à votre rythme, pour faire face à des problématiques telles que le mal-être, l’anxiété, les difficultés relationnelles ou familiales, les périodes de transition, ou toute situation générant une souffrance émotionnelle.

After graduating in clinical psychology at the ULB, Florianne Siegrist trained in family and systemic therapy at the CEFS (Center for Family and System Studies), then in brief therapy and hypnosis with Thierry Melchior. She has also been trained in RTP (Reassociative Trauma Psychotherapy) with Gerald Brassine. She consults in French, English and receives school children, teenagers, adults, couples and families in her private practice in Dion le Val, near Wavre and Louvain la Neuve. Systemic therapy teaches us that the symptom "says something" to members of the community (often the family and/or the social-professional milieu) in terms of changing relationships. When did the symptoms emerge? What was happening at that time in the environment, the relational context? What new events have disrupted the balance? The therapy will therefore be interested in present and past relationships in order to understand what, if anything, is being replayed in terms of adjusting emotional distances, affects that have been "affected" and that have triggered the appearance of difficulties, of "ill-being". Offering a guarantee of professional listening equipped by university training and experience is certainly important and primordial, it is the necessary condition for therapy, but in my opinion it is not sufficient. To offer a secure framework by creating a climate of confidence where the humanity which is in each one of us finds its rightful place, such is the state of mind of the consultation. A warm welcome, benevolence, kindness, empathy, non-judgment and unconditional respect for the patient's "experiences" while adopting an unconditional positive attitude towards the person, who he is, are the key words and milestones that must order the "patient-therapist" encounter.
