Mijn naam is Sophie Seyns en ik maak deel uit van de multidisciplinaire groepspraktijk Think Outside te Gavere-Asper. In oktober start ik en ik heb dan ook vrij snel beschikbaarheden. Gelieve mij rechtstreeks te contacteren als het u niet lukt om een afspraak in te boeken.

Ik ben een erkend klinisch psycholoog. Sinds mijn afstuderen als Master in de Klinische Psychologie in 2008, heb ik ervaring opgedaan in de ziekenhuizen (oncologie, hematologie, pijnkliniek, obesitaskliniek, diabeteskliniek, fysische geneeskunde, geriatrie, neurologie, revalidatie,...) en in de privésector waar ik crisisinterventies verzorgde bij traumatische gebeurtenissen en EAP-trajecten (Employee Assistance Program) deed voor medewerkers van bedrijven en overheden. Ik begeleidde hen bij werk- als privégerelateerde problemen zoals stress en burn-out, verlies van een naaste, mentale problemen,... . Die brede achtergrond, ervaring en interesse neem ik dan ook mee in mijn praktijk.

Soms loopt het leven gewoon anders dan je had verwacht. Je voelt je uit balans, weet niet goed welke richting je uit wil of kan, of je zit met vragen waar je zelf niet meteen antwoorden op vindt. Of het nu gaat over verlies, ouderschap, ziekte, stress op het werk, tegenslag, spanningen of het gevoel vast te zitten, je hoeft er niet alleen door.

Ik wandel graag een stukje met je mee. In een warme, open en authentieke sfeer kijk ik samen met jou naar wat er speelt. Jij bent de expert van jouw leven en samen met mijn expertise zoeken we naar wat werkt voor jou. Pasklare antwoorden zijn er vaak niet. Er is ruimte om te voelen, te verkennen, in vraag te stellen, en stap voor stap terug evenwicht te vinden en deze te behouden.

Ik werk met methodieken uit de Acceptance and Commitment Therapie (ACT) in combinatie met de Oplossingsgerichte Therapie en Cognitieve Gedragstherapie. Daarnaast verlies ik nooit het grotere geheel namelijk jouw omgeving uit het oog. Zelf woon ik samen met mijn partner en 2 kinderen.

Psychologue clinicienne conventionnée diplômée de l’Université Libre de Bruxelles, je suis titulaire d’un master en psychologie clinique et psychopathologie.

Je suis spécialisée dans la prise en charge des addictions, des troubles du comportement alimentaire, ainsi que dans la gestion du stress, de l’anxiété et des difficultés relationnelles ou familiales.

Mon approche est intégrative, ce qui me permet d’adapter mes outils thérapeutiques à la demande et aux besoins spécifiques de chacun.

En parallèle, étant également coach sportif, j’intègre lorsque cela est pertinent une dimension psychocorporelle au suivi. I am 46 years old and I am a systemic psychologist/psychotherapist. I work mainly with couples and families, but also with individuals. The people who have consulted me say that I am a gentle, calm person and that I am very invested in the interviews. They also say that I am atypical compared to the psychologist colleagues they have known, and that this characteristic is experienced in a very positive way for them.
