My practice is based on cognitive-behavioral and emotional therapies, such as ACT therapy (acceptance and commitment therapy) and schema therapy, to help you build a more fulfilled and balanced life. My approach is centered on individuals and couples, with the aim of promoting your well-being and personal development. 

Hello, I am an approved and supervised clinical psychologist, with a master’s degree from the Free University of Brussels. Trained in the impact of the COVID pandemic, in supporting people experiencing burnout and in psychological assessments, I offer follow-up in French or English to adults and teenagers. My therapeutic approach is intended to be inclusive and active both in listening and in discussions, it is part of an integrative approach and adapts to your pace. Together we create your space for speech and security in an empathetic and caring framework. In sessions, if necessary, I use various media to support expression, such as metaphors, photo-expression, role-playing, Dixit or even drawing. In person or by video conference, you choose the place that suits you best to meet. I welcome you Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and every other Saturday until 6 p.m. at my office located in the Ama Sana center, rue Borrens n° 37 in 1050 Ixelles or by video consultation .

During my studies in Psychology at the University of Liege, I was mainly interested in cognitive and behavioral psychology as well as in neuropsychology. These studies now form the basis of my practice with an adult population. Afterwards, while working, I continued to learn and train. Among others, I continued to learn about motivational interviewing, ACT therapy, mindfulness, psycho-education, ... As for my professional career, after several years of expertise for the justice system and work on addictions as a psychologist, my skills as a neuropsychologist have allowed me to focus on supporting people suffering from Alzheimer's disease (or another disease of the same type) as well as their loved ones and professionals in the field. At present, with the benefit of these varied experiences, I can offer you a tailor-made accompaniment, according to your needs. Whether it is a burnout, stress, anxiety, phobias, depression, bereavement, dependency or simply unhappiness, I can accompany you and, together, we will work to recover your well-being.

I am a clinical psychologist, trained in victimology and psycho-traumatology and in continuing education in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. In parallel to my consultation, I work in the Mental Health Service of the Province of Brabant Wallon in Tubize with adults and adolescents. As a person and a psychologist, I have always valued listening and empathy. Thus, the welcome and the non-judgmental attitude that I guarantee to my patients, allow me to create a secure relationship with them, characterized by benevolence. My practice is characterized by the use of various tools such as relaxation, anchoring and self-hypnosis techniques. The patient can learn to use these tools to work through his or her emotions and experience them more serenely. The establishment of a trusting and collaborative relationship between the patient and myself is essential in order for us to work together. In this way, the support that I will offer the patient will allow him/her to have a space where he/she can free his/her speech and verbalize his/her emotions, so that we can make sense of what he/she is going through. The change that the patient wants to achieve and the setting of objectives according to his initial request, as well as the realization of new experiences in a secure place, will be at the center of the care that I propose to offer him.

Mon nom est Ikram Tahere, psychologue clinicienne, je suis spécialisée en burnout parental. Diplômée d’un Master universitaire en psychologie clinique orientation humaniste et en psychologie de la santé obtenu à l’UCL, je fais de votre santé ma priorité.  

Forte d’une expérience à la clinique du stress à Brugmann où le burnout professionnel est l’un des fléaux les plus fréquents, je me suis formée à une approche globale de cette souffrance ; une approche à la fois physiologique, cognitive, psychologique et corporelle, par la thérapie individuelle et de groupe. Une expérience qui me laisse encore aujourd’hui avec la passion du travail interdisciplinaire et l’approche psycho-corporelle. 

Plus tard, j’ai acquis une expérience de 8 ans en asbl avec un certain nombre de femmes et leurs enfants. J’ai eu le plaisir d’organiser du soutien à la parentalité, à travers des groupes de parole, d’initiation à la sophrologie, d’accompagnement psycho-social, d’éducation permanente ;cette riche expérience est venue confirmer mon désir d’être à l’écoute de ma patientèle.

Par ailleurs, j’ai également suivi une Formation en burnout parental avec Moïra Mikolajzack et Isabelle Roskam, qui sont les leaders internationaux dans le domaine . Des femmes (encore !) inspirantes. Je partage avec elles ce désir d’avertir, de prévenir et de guérir le burnout parental encore trop tabou dans nos sociétés. 

En perpétuel désir d’apporter à ma pratique le meilleur des dernières avancées dans le domaine de l’accompagnement psychologique, j’accorde une grande importance à la formation continue. En parallèle, j’ai travaillé en cabinet privé dans un centre médical pluridisciplinaire. 

Je suis centrée sur la bienveillance et l’écoute, car  la relation d’aide est une passion pour moi. J’ai le sens de l’observation et le goût du contact humain grâce à ma formation et mon expérience dans le travail avec les familles, les femmes et leurs enfants en particulier. 

Consciente que le travail interdisciplinaire est essentiel, j’entretiens des contacts privilégiés avec les médecins généralistes. 

Par ailleurs, ayant une affinité et un respect particulier pour nos ainés, je visite à domicile nos seniors, en perte d'autonomie, ayant besoin de soutien psychologique. En effet, j'intervient dans le cadre du Protocole 3 avec Brusano. Intervention prise en charge ,en partie voire totalement par la mutuelle, pour les 60 ans et plus.
