Elle a d'abord suivi une formation à l'Université Catholique de Louvain en Psychologie clinique pour être diplômé en 2013; puis a choisi de poursuivre un cursus à Ichec Entreprise pour développer des compétence de management; enfin, de 2016 à 2019 elle a rejoint le CFNA où elle a été diplômé en Psychologie systémique (2016), Ostéopathie bio-énergétique (2017), Nutrithérapie (2019). Toutes ces formations lui permettent d'apporter les meilleures solutions possibles à ses patients. Florence Hougardy welcomes you at the Centre Mimosa (25 avenue de la Forêt de Soignes, 1640 Rhode-Saint-Genèse) on Friday afternoons from 2pm to 7pm and the rest of the week at her private practice (51, avenue des Cèdres, Rhode-Saint-Genèse) for psychological appointments. The price of a consultation is 50€ for 45 min (teenager/adult) or 40€ for 30 min (child under 13). You are in good hands.

Joignable par téléphone. Après avoir été Coordinatrice d'une institution psychiatrique pendant 10 ans, ma pratique se poursuit essentiellement dans le privé. Diplômée en psychologie à ULB depuis 20 ans, formée en psychothérapie psychanalytique analytique adulte à Chapelle-aux-Champs (UCL) depuis 13 ans, et en formation continue au sein d’une école de psychanalyse, ma pratique professionnelle s’est développée dans des institutions psychiatriques mais aussi dans des services de consultations (Service de Santé Mentale).

Je reçois des adultes et des adolescents pour différentes problématiques:

• le travail

I am a clinical psychologist, trained in victimology and psycho-traumatology and in continuing education in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. In parallel to my consultation, I work in the Mental Health Service of the Province of Brabant Wallon in Tubize with adults and adolescents. As a person and a psychologist, I have always valued listening and empathy. Thus, the welcome and the non-judgmental attitude that I guarantee to my patients, allow me to create a secure relationship with them, characterized by benevolence. My practice is characterized by the use of various tools such as relaxation, anchoring and self-hypnosis techniques. The patient can learn to use these tools to work through his or her emotions and experience them more serenely. The establishment of a trusting and collaborative relationship between the patient and myself is essential in order for us to work together. In this way, the support that I will offer the patient will allow him/her to have a space where he/she can free his/her speech and verbalize his/her emotions, so that we can make sense of what he/she is going through. The change that the patient wants to achieve and the setting of objectives according to his initial request, as well as the realization of new experiences in a secure place, will be at the center of the care that I propose to offer him.

As a clinical psychologist with a degree from the ULB, I offer a caring and reassuring framework to accompany any person experiencing discomfort, questions or symptoms. Although my approach is mainly analytical, I consider the treatment as an active collaboration between the psychologist and the consultant. Thus, I sometimes use concepts and tools from other approaches (systemic and ttc) in order to adapt my practice to the individuality of the person. I receive teenagers and adults individually for 45 minutes, either for a one-time meeting or for a long-term follow-up.
