After 20 years as a consultant, mother of 3, I transitioned to coaching.
Through coaching there is the possibility to access deeper levels of insight in the reasons why progress that is wanted and needed is not achieved.
My starting point is helping you prepare for a difficult conversation through roleplay. This can be a conversation in the private or professional sphere or even an inner conversation that keeps showing up in your head.
During role-play you try out how you would approach the dreaded conversation in a judgment-free environment, where you are allowed to make mistakes and learn from them. You will experience both sides of the conversation as we will switch roles during the roleplay, allowing you to better understand the dynamics that are occurring. This type of exercise builds muscle memory, so that when you have the real conversation, you will be more relaxed and confident.
After the roleplay, either you have found sufficient anchor-points and clarity on your inner blockages and potential new ways to approach challenging situations to continue by yourself or we will continue to work together.
This involves digging deeper into who you are, your dreams, expectations, strengths, challenges... A good source of information if you are unclear about these topics is going back to the moments in your childhood when you felt in a relaxed, natural flow state.
Herewith some testimonials:
“I had a session with Sandrine. She helped me practice this difficult conversation. Many new perspectives were opened up. I understand that my uncertainty and hesitation were contributing to my fear of the conversation. I advise Sandrine for who needs to be more relaxed before difficult conversations. Thanks a lot” - Gürcan
"The role play opportunity was useful in being able to hear what I say sound like. I realized how my intentions were not communicated directly through my words and how to remedy that. Through the two-part exercise I felt more knowledgeable about my vantage point." - Vyse
“As a novice experiential coach, I found myself doubting my (professional) position in relation to certain clients. Thanks in part to the peer coaching and role-playing with Sandrine, I gained more confidence, which allowed me to successfully continue guiding my client's process.
In the role-play, I got clarity in the motives of my client and his “being” on the one hand, and on the other hand clarity on how I could respond authentically and professionally. Thank you Sandrine.” - Liesbet Van Dessel
